I believe this new “law” reduces the previous allowable 10 in a group, to six persons. Eg not 6 on a premise, pub, restaurant etc but 6 in a group at a table for example - observing social distancing. Could be wrong - we shall know soon enough. !! | |||

Moving around from one group to another to try to maintain a six, when its obvious your're not a six, don't. Standing around near the bar, or in the smoke area as groups of more than six, don't. Going back to hotel rooms for play with others, don't. Nowhere can I see it condoning any kind of sexual contact, even within bubbles in a club environment. So, our question will be pretty obvious to all....would you attend the club just to socialise with smaller groups for the evenings? We are big enough to cater for lots of groups of six, but is there a demand? "If I was local to you I definitely would. (Unfortunately regardless of what decision you take I'm too far away.) I would still attend clubs, if they were local to me in order to support them and just be around like minded people even if there was stricter legislation in place. | |||

The on site testing that was suggested could be a game changer if it happens? It's being tested in Salford next month to iron out problems. If it goes well, it could mean than clubs could open again and admit people who test Negative for Covid on the night. We just need to see how effective and feasible it is during the trial period xxx | |||

"We've been lucky and were able to re-open on the 10th of July, but we will be closing on the 14th September due to the restriction news today. Spoke to a council representative who advised anymore than 6 in a building if not on the exempt list could be classed as a breach of the new law as it stands and liable to a fine. Council are send out a letter tomorrow, so please check with the local authority governing you. x Sonia  | |||

We just need to see how effective and feasible it is during the trial period xxx" That certainly would be fabulous, it is a tough time for the clubs, so many of the owners run them for love rather than money, and the thought of any of their effort slipping away is heartbreaking Hopefully they will all come through this with the support of the community and safe ways will be found going forward for people to be able to socialise, use the facilities and when the time is right enjoy each other physically as well.  | |||

We've been lucky and were able to re-open on the 10th of July, but we will be closing on the 14th September due to the restriction news today.

But, how is that different to any other bar or hotel who would all also contain more than 6 people? Did they tell you the reason why it only affects you cos it makes no sense to me given you're obviously only operating as a normal B&B due to social distancing anyway which makes you the same as others who'll be staying open? The blind scattergun approach of rules baffles me... Xx | |||

Would u need 2 arrive in ur bubble of up2 6 people 2 be able 2 play with ur group "Xtasia haven’t opened any of the play areas if I remember rightly. | |||

It says "Avoid" rather than "Do Not" mingle with anyone outside your bubble. Avoid the crash barrier if possible  | |||

You are quite right, we sometimes forget there are diferrent rules that apply across the UK.......reminder to self, to not be so English focussed | |||
