Ipswich area

Unusually for me I am having to travel for work and find myself in the Ipswich area Tuesday to Thursday next week. What's the nearest club or spa (if open)

Edinburgh

Ipswich is a desert in so far as clubs are concerned.

I think the closest clubs in non Covid times are The Annex or The Vanilla Alternative. Possibly as easy to travel to London.

Good luck with that and hope you succeed . Having spent the last 2 weeks in Ipswich it does appear to be a poor area for swingers!

Really could do with a club nearer to Ipswich but don't mind the trek to Vanilla Alternative or Le Boudoir.

just wish they were a bit closer x

When a club opened in Clacton, year before last, hardly anyone attended and it closed in a year !

Always thought that old little chef (i think it was) next to the petrol station by the Orwell bridge would make a good club by night and possible adult shop by day. Crowd fund?

Our friends normally run parties once a month from September for 6 months.

But because of the virus then nothing will happen for a while

Yes this area is barren, hence we travel to Poland!!!

Someone on here was thinking of opening a club in Essex however that seems to have died the death!!

Essex County Council won’t approve anything. They’ve just declined an adult entertainment venue in Colchester.

It’s very frustrating not having anything locally and having to travel!

I worked in South Essex years ago, and heard that in general terms, all councils across Essex were tough on any adult entertainment venues.

Travelling is fine,however everywhere we go to is well over an hour

Yes I go to VA and that’s about an hour and 15. I’ve been to some of the Kent clubs too which are similar distances. Would be nice having somewhere local though.

Yes we often go to Eureka, well did however opening hours aren't great for us now, we still promote where we can on Twitter for them.

We would love a club near to us in lowestoft,but can't see the council allowing anything here.

This must be one of the worst places for swinging

God that must have been 30 years ago+ yes there was

There was one in Lowestoft, a branch if Eureka, on an industrial estate
