Club ‘play’ rules lifted!

Just out of curiosity, do you think the restrictions on playing together in clubs should be lifted providing its with your own partner?

I can see why the restrictions are in place, but I feel that this is the next step and would also encourage those who are new to the scene a chance to play in a new environment without that self imposed pressure. Also, i think it would be more popular than just socials and thus create better revenue for the clubs.

I just wondered what everyone’s else view is.

Well done to all the clubs who have survived lockdown and are getting back on track slowly.

Stay safe everyone. X

The clubs would lose their licence. Just shag at home.

What "self imposed pressure"?

I know they would lose their license, I’m asking the question that do you allowing couples to play at clubs is the next logical step?

"What "self imposed pressure"?"

Some couples who are new to the scene are nervous at first and don’t know what to expect. I was when I first became active. They may feel pressured that they have to take part in something.

It doesn't matter what we think the next step should be, it will only be allowed when it won't put the clubs at risk.

I don't know obviously what would happen next but I would imagine eventually that would happen first before any other play yes

I think it would be the correct thing to do, along with temp checks and track and trace etc. I just hope that some couples don’t mistake the hand sanitisers for lube........that could sting a little!

You actually asked if we thought that couples should be allowed to play with each other in clubs. I told you the clubs could lose their licence if they did.

Because you have to book in advance to go there and if you don't at least have a couples profile together then they probably won't let you use the room. I dunno, I just know there are rooms available

I know of one in Leicester, I assume others elsewhere are too. They are doing temperature checks and taking personal details on entry too and in every where in club other than in specific cafe area you are to wear masks but I doubt a couple locked in a private room will adhere to that

Not all couple profiles are real couples, some are fwb/fb couples, just saying it's hard to really know

It would be very irresponsible. Are people really that desperate?

I think clubs are going to be a long way off, I can't imagine that the question of when to allow sex clubs to reopen is high on the priority list for the government. They're only just allowing beauty treatments with full protection, naked people having sex in an environment that will be difficult to get covid safe. Having to get everyone's details for tracing.

I've met quite a few couples who simply use the private room in clubs for sex because it's cheaper than a hotel room and more discreet. I doubt we will see many married men taking their secretaries to the clubs if they have to disclose their real names. Kind of defeats the purpose of being anonymous. Their wives just have to get their solicitors to check the client books for each club and bingo - grounds for divorce.

This club is very small and predominantly regulars that go there. The staff and other customers know who is a couple and who is not. They are allowing dungeon BDSM play too with PPE.

It doesn’t really matter what anyone wants to see happen, or thinks should happen.

Clubs are very heavily licensed & will follow the guidance from their local Public Health & Licensing teams. I know Townhouse are in close contact with them on a regular basis & im sure other clubs are too.

What works for one club won’t necessarily work for others. I just hope that enough clubs manage to survive through this & get to the other side!

Hmmm with GDPR don’t think it would be as easy as that ? Might need a court order to direct a club to release the information and as it’s personal information the benchmark for ordering its release might be quite high - I suspect seeking to obtain evidence of infidelity would not be a good enough reason. After all, even the police struggle to obtain personal information like that sometimes and that’s when it’s for investigating a crime.

We did try it for couples only but found to many people that wasn't a couple was asking to use them so we stopped everyone from using them now.

Our original idea was to include bubbles also but as Leicester currently can only have "support bubbles" we was unable to do that.

We have been checked by the Leicester police and they have told us the precautions we are taking are well within the UK and local Leicester lockdown laws and we are covid-secure.

And for them that ask what's the point in opening..

To meet like minded adults, make new connections and be able to socialize in a safe, friendly environment where there are no expectations or judgments.

So to sum it up, no play isn't allowed, social only.

Brilliant response and great to ‘get it from the horses mouth’.

I thought as much that there would be some ‘couples’ bending the rules or at least trying to.

How has the ‘socials only’ affected revenue? Has it gone up (behind the bar etc) due to people socialising more or has it decreased (due to less visitors?) It’d be interesting to see.

Explain if they don't have a couples profile as there are lots who go to clubs are not using fab or other Web sites. It's not compulsory to be on a swingers site to go to a club. We have met many who, believe it or not, never heard of fab. Few did go home and had a look and joined up thanking us for stearing them in that direction

Revenue is down to about 30% of what is was before lockdown but is to be expected, we're charging 40% less to get in than before covid due to steam room, jacuzzi and sauna turned of.

Also we can only let in 1/3 of what we could before to allow for social distancing.

Club Amigos is a small club compaired to some so our overheads are relatively low so we're managing fine.

It was ment to be a stepping stone for us to learn more before we got something bigger but we decided to keep it as we genuingly get some lovely folk come and it's turned out to be a real friendly little club that we love hosting at x

Not sure where you’re getting you’re information from, but it’s not correct.

Most clubs aren’t even open at all.

Of those who are, there may be one or two allowing ‘proven’ couples to play together, but in the main, clubs are open for socials only.
