Hi everyone I am resgistered as blind but can see abit I cant drive because of my eyes

Never been to a swingers club but I would love to go nearest 1 to me if Club f transport is a problem for me if I knew someone that could help me out that be great thanks

I have thanks but they say I need to get there myself or find someone of here but its hard

Depending on the severity of your sight loss, I suggest that Chams Darlaston may not be a practical club for you to attend. There are three floors and several sets of stairs which may give you problems.

not sure if you know north east well clubf is 40 miles away it would cost round £50 £60 or more

Every club I know is very dimly lit (or dark) inside.

Unfortunately op, I don't know how this would work for you.

It would have to be a case of getting a companion to take you and stay with you for the evening.

When club reopens speak to the club and mention you are wanting to go

And then start a post asking if anybody from Teesside is going and try and arrange a lift with them.

To put them at ease maybe organise a social before hand to gain that person/couples trust

I can imagine you will have safety issues in clubs with stairs and wet areas if you are partially sighted.

I can think of several clubs which might be a safer bet for you. Possibly the nearest is Quest in Leeds which I recall is entirely located on the ground floor. It is open in the afternoon and evening and therefore

you could travel by bus or train , late night should not be an issue.

As previous posters have indicated ; i think you should speak to the management about what is possible.

seen a fully blind lad attend 1 night .dutch lad and he had fun first night , ok tansport getting back may be hard but know theres a few from boro area go or could also book a room and then get bus next day.

You could always book a local hotel, often when people are visiting a club that's not very local to them, or the transport timings don't work out they book a premier Inn or similar closer to the location.

Sorry brother to far away unless you're loaded.

But if you're ever in Manchester area.

I'll charge 10 quid an hour plus petrol and club entry (refunded if I end up joining in) or I can wait outside.

Anywhere you need to go, purchases en route

You can get public transport to Stanley, stay over at ClubF, public transport home in the morning

The club will help you when you're there, but it's not their responsibility to provide transport.

Alternatively, if you are that desperate to go then get a taxi. If you really want to do it, you'll find a way!

Derek when lockdown is over properly and things are back to normal we would be happy to meet you in Middlesbrough for a coffee. If all goes well and we get along then when we go back to clubf I J the Mr drives up so you could potentially get a lift both ways with us.

No Churchills is a place with ladies of a certain calibre.

Quest is very easy to get to from the city centre via bus or taxi. The club is designed around been very disabled friendly.

A train down to Leeds and book a travel inn or the likes would be your best bet.

As mentioned through the week it's open most afternoons and evenings so you could make a day of it albeit with a break in between.

The only days they are open through is one Thursday a month for the Tv/ts event.

Once things have got back on track it could be something to look at.

Hi Derek,

Once everything is back to normal, I'd suggest contacting the club and booking an overnight stay; the rates are extremely reasonable. It means you're able to use public transport both ways and is massively cheaper than a taxi. Stanley has a good public transport network, so it isn't too much of an issue if you're used to buses.

Once there, the clubs are fantastic at accommodating any issues and will give you a great guided tour of the facilities and introduce you to a few of the regulars to chat to.

You just have to make that first step once things start getting back to 'normality'.
