You may get some random that thinks they can sell the story to one of the daily chip wrappers in the hope that the event draws unwanted attention and gets cancelled. It's petty stuff clubs have to deal with even before the pandemic. But like others have said the event is 7 weeks away and could be several changes in that time. We can go to pubs now and the Chancellor has just announced plans to encourage people to dine out. McDonald's have even started doing breakfasts again  | |||

So it won't be a swing fest event just a fest ?? Lol I hope the restrictions change before you open..but if nit. Im sure theres ways it can still go ahead Not a dampener... just curious . " As stated by the organisers the event will be cancelled and refunds given. Even if the guidelines do not change, couples that are attending together can still play together in a private room. I also think there are lots on here that are expecting it to be a giant fuck fest which unfortunately will not be the case. Its a festival with live music. The guidlines allow for this. The sex part is only an optional extra. | |||

For instance beauticians have been given the green light for later this month yet are not allowed to do any face treatments or makeup etc... it’s hard to see 4 weeks later that a swinging festival will meet criteria or will it become a purely social no play event? A formal risk assessment by a council body would have carried out prior to granting permission. They obviously comply with the the guidlines or a licence would not have been granted. Not sure what the council license reference is too, it’s A question on national health policy and lockdown not a question of local licensing which is obviously zero issue from the fact the events been held before. | |||

Outdoor performances in front of a live audience and indoor rehearsals can take place in COVID-19 secure venues. Indoor rehearsals and indoor performances for broadcast should only happen where no audience is present smaller-scale indoor performances can be piloted in COVID-19 Secure venues once approved by the government. "Please please please don’t turn this thread into a “cant see how this can go ahead type covid thread” All of us going know the risks in cancellation and possible restrictions even if it goes ahead but let’s not put a dampener on what is hopefully a great event... "Unfortunatly we will not be going but only due to having alternative arrangements that weekend. I am heavily involved in an industry that involves outdoor events and crowds. Things are changing on a daily bases with new guidelines coming in almost daily. I know the organisers of this event and the club is not their only business. They have other businesses that involve public and gatherings and they have been sucessfuly running those events in accordance with Goverment guidelines without any problems at all. If, and it is a BIG If the event does not go ahead then they have clearly stated that refunds will be issued. All the negative speculation does no one any good. They know their business and have too much to loose by not doing it properly. If you want to go then go... If you have any doubts then dont go! It really is that simple. For those that have real concerns message the organisers on here or via the clubs website it really is that simple! "For people querying the legality of it. 1) its weeks away, not tommorow. A lot can change. 2) it's not an orgy. It's a festival for swingers, there doesnt have to be close contact. 3) If you're worried about catching covid from somone, don't go.
