Given up on clubs opening any time soon unless they stop the social distancing

which seems to be remaining in place well into autumn.

West end productions are closed until 2021 it was confirmed yesterday because of social distancing. clubs in general bring people together so they'll be in the same boat sadly just won't work.

Not to upset anyone or dash anyone's hopes here because we would love to open up if it was variable and legal & safe to do so, but .... we have already took the decision at Club Play (Rename from Club Sx recently) not to open again at all until social distancing has ended.

The advice from Public Health England is clear to Sexual establishments like Saunas ect is not to open again in 2020 Now optimistically this may change and social distancing may end but until such time we will be staying closed.

It's of course a personal choice for every other club Owner or Manger to make if they are allowed to open with social distancing measures in place and if they can negate the risks or not. For us after doing a risk assessment we deemed it impossible to do with social distancing measures in place.

Autumn?! All clubs will remain closed in 2020 unless they open up as social only and can ensure social distancing. PHE have said so

I can't see any clubs reopening this year, even if we reduce the 2M rule it is still going to mean no contact and clubs like anywhere else are legally responsible for there staff and customers. Can you really imagine a club opening and everyone behaving themselves. At the moment it's far too risky for them to open and probably will be until we get a vaccine.

If Club Play (aka Club Sx) take that view, then that's kind of the last word on the matter (but don't let me stop the comments!)

It seems really difficult for a club to be able to reopen, as a business with a legal liability to its employees and to its customers, while the threat of C-19 hangs over us all.

They are planning to open schools up completely for all in September... I think to do that they will need to relax social distancing by then. So hopefully things will go back to normal shortly after. I think they will want things back to normal by Christmas definitely. There will be spikes in the winter but I guess they could say its normal around that time

When the schools open in September, 1 metre social distancing would likely be in place.

1 metre SC can work in schools but not in clubs.

Schools have said they cannot operate to full capacity even at 1m..social distancing will have to end at some point.. Before mass gatherings.. Which is my area of work.. Family bubbles will come first and some private hire clubs will open first under this rule maybe... More on the kink side that. D
