Somewhere Only We Know

Now that clubs are closed for the near future and social distancing measures are in place for meets, do you think that there will be a drop in any STI's/STD's?

Also, do you think people will let their sexual health slip as they can't get checked at the clubs they attended?

Another question is, will there be a spike in sexual health concerns when government guidelines for social distancing are relaxed further?

We've already seen on status updates that people are asking and hinting at meets already, so its a bit concerning.

Just a few questions that we've been thinking about.

Stay safe

Birmingham

STIs will(and are dropping) but not because of swinger club closures... they are dropping as pubs/clubs/social interaction in general has stopped. We find The vast majority of swingers are more aware of their sexual health than most.

As for meeting I’d say sexual health and Covid concerns are very seperate things. I’d say STI levels will return tk what they were before Covid

Agree there has been a huge drop in sti and hiv, this is once in a generation time for people to get checked and get safe and make something positive come out of this covid drama

Surely people can use their local clinic to get checked for STI's? They don't have to wait for Clubs to reopen.

Likely to reopen before Swinger's Clubs, if not walk in centre or GP?

I can only speak for Manchester but they have been doing tests via postal packs for an age now

East Sussex are doing postal packs for free. A lot of other areas are too. Just put free test me into Google and you can see if you are eligible in your area x

hiding from cock pics.

Sh24 is the national health, free postal testing kits. It covers many areas but not all. It's worth having a look.

the service is fantastic, I get mine done through it. They post the the test, you prick your finger and swab yourself, send it back and get a text very quickly.

Another thing that we wondered about. When clubs reopen, will they be upgrading washing facilities? More showers, hand gels etc etc to help with restricting any future situations similar to the one we're in?

Obviously, most people we know take their own hygiene products to clubs, as we do, but will it be part of the new remit by the government guidelines to upgrade at adult venues?
