Just wondering if anyone has attended a KK zoom party? We’re thinking of joining one and wondered if anyone on here has attended and what it’s like?

Been members off KK for several years. Attending mainly Northern parties.

But not tried the zoom parties as we don’t Cam.

How ever We would be interested to know how it goes.

Be very careful with Zoom, there has been a lot in the news lately about their security problems and lack of encryption.

They have tooled up their security so as long as you use a meeting password you will be fine.

I had actually thought of this being part of an organisation that has thousands of meetings up and running on zoom but looking at the zoom bombing and the ease of getting in even in password protected meetings it was something I was not willing to risk.

Zoom is very insecure on many levels and wouldn’t use it for anything “naughty” !

Had a few get togethers with fab folk on zoom always set up a password and id number its fine and now you can have longer for 40 mins too ..had quizzes on there too was fun

We joined one of the KK zoom parties a couple of weeks ago. We’d never done anything virtual before, so we can now tick it off the list, but it didn’t really do much for us. That said, the KK team curated and controlled it well, so it didn’t feel like the Wild West. Have fun! X
