"Try right-clicking on your own cam and select Global Settings. Go to the "Camera and Mic" tab and click Settings by Site. You should see chat.fabswingers.com, click on it, then, in the drop down at the bottom, select "Allow", then Close. Refresh the page.

I've seen this suggested several times, but I can't see that any guides have been posted, can you provide a link to the instructions?

Is there a preferred "subversion" of 10? Is there a way to stop the "Out of date plugin" message that I get with 10.0.12.36?

Try version 11.1.102.63 and let us know how you get on (it's a prior version to the buggy one but later than 10.x)

I hope Admin won't object to me posting these links?

Uninstall Flash

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Get version 11.1.102.63 from

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

Admin,

I've also got a link to an explanation of how to disable the inbuilt Flash Player within Chrome, so you stick with the one you've installed. Should I email you the link?

Glad somebody is helping.

We haven't been able to cam for ages and were thinking of spending the fiver elsewhere as there isn't any point if nothing works correctly on the site.

I know of others who have and some that are thinking about it too.

Could we have the link for chrome please too? I've had to change my cam settings to get it to work, but I don't like the fact that it comes on automatically now as soon as I load chat

Has reverting back to the old flash worked for you? What symptoms are you seeing is it your own cam causing problems and/or viewing others?

Uninstalled new flash, re-installed old and same old freezing happens.

Cam is ok and works fine on its own.

Have you checked that all flash has been uninstalled i.e. uninstall, check that flash isn't working in cam room?

When did your cam stop working?

Which old version are you going back to?

Using 10.3 flash player now. Cam stopped working a couple of weeks ago.

Have you made any changes to chat recently that could be affecting the performance of members' cams?

None. We've not updated the code in ages. Unfortunately Adobe seem to have screwed up the latest version of flash which has caused these issues with many cam sites.

Worth:

* trying again, uninstall flash first

and check that flash has gone by trying chat on here verifying you can't view cams etc.

* try version 11.1.102.63 from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

* let us know how you get on

One further thing to try, this is now being reported as fixed in 11.3 flash beta. You can download/try here
