Can someone tell me - is there a sort of "time out" on pm messages if you don't reply? Quite often I find that if I haven't immediately replied to a pm, the sender's name has disappeared from the window... Or have they just got fed up and closed the window on their side?

If their name has vanished then it usually means they have left the pm
