FabSwingers.com forum: Tried chat rooms but not for me :(

Being the proud owner of a new laptop with all the bells and whistles on it I thought last night I'd give the chat rooms a go and test out my webcam.

I had no technical difficulties at all and am pleased to say my webcam works fine

However I have come to the conclusion that the chat rooms are not for me as I found the experience a bit impersonal due to the following reasons-

I struggle with the short and sharp style of messaging as I prefer to think a wee bit about what I'm saying,so when I know what I'm going to say I always have to think of the best way to shorten it,and usually by the time I've done that the 'moment'has well and truly passed!

So basically my brain is going too fast for my slow typing lol.

Also not being that fast at typing means I have to look at the keyboard as I'm typing,which means I miss a lot of what's being said.

And also it does nothing for me to turn me on,if I want to 'get off' most porn sites do more for me than a blurry image on a wee square!

I'm not knocking it in any way and can see how it works for those that use it,alas it's just not for me.

So,as my profile states I have no problem with verifying myself for others via webcam.But I'm afraid for me that's where it ends.

Was in both but not being a site supporter didn't really notice much difference apart from there seems to be more rooms in the new chat.

I'll never say never though and may go on again in the future,but just for a laugh as it does nothing for me sexually.

Unless you are into watching or performing on cam then chat isn't about getting something out of it sexually....lots of people use it just to chat with people.

I'm not worried about it at all,I just thought I'd share my experience of the chat rooms by writing a nice long post about it as it proper did my tits in last night having to condense/shorten everything I wanted to say!

But hey ho it's horses for courses,innit!

Aye,I totally get that.

Might see if there's any txt spk/abbreviation classes in my area,or a touch typing course lol.

I've come a long way though,this time last year I was typing with one finger......now I'm using two lol!
