Just an idea gathered from another large chat site (not swinging related).

Maybe a box that shows what mods are on chat at the time and a function to pm them when the idiots invade? Or something along the lines anyway

Its sometimes a tad difficult trying to get hold of them as they are busy via normal message but this is understandable.

Just thought id put it out there as a suggestion xx

That's only really useful if the mod is constantly checking their inbox. Mostly folks seem to scout through the other rooms looking for an * and then ask if they can go to the room where the problem is.

Had this yesterday -I was in Northern chat was asked to go into the Wales room cos it was a directing orgy.... it made me laugh to see just how many people from the Northern room went charging off to the Wales room to see what was happening

Rugby i hear your cry, however they'd have to be checking inbox all the time (which is often difficult)

This way it would avoid it and give a direct line to a mods PM of who's on chat.

I am having a blonde day I think as I am not quite getting what you mean.

The PM's only work when in chat, so if a mod isn't in chat they can't be PM'd.

Are you thinking along the lines of AOL chat where you had a button to ask for a guide to go sort out the mayhem ?

Had to go looking for a mod as in Northern Room had several guys who were becoming abusive and had to look in every room before finding in Scotland Room...Didnt find that really helpfull.. H.xxx

I wonder if it could be possible to set something up like - an asterisk shows next to the room name in the list of rooms on the left hand side of the chat page if a mod/mods are in a room. This would make it easy for people to locate a mod quickly when necessary rather than having to trawl through several rooms hoping to find someone to help when a problem arises.

Well "dial a mod" would be very useful. In Scotland chat yesterday - room was full (Yes - full!)

ALl because of one very explicit FMF cam. I don't have a problem with the cam in question but all the budding Spielbergs.

There was one mod in the room - and they did their best but it was like boot one and 2 replaced. Poor mod was fighting a loosing battle.

dont think the cam in question was aware

(too engrossed in themselves to have noticed)but the Speilbergs started hassling single females.

Another well known site uses this system where the mods or chat helps as they r called on that site are always at the top of the list and highlighted..... Makes it easy to find them

i was thinking this....that site also shows who is online in the forum,and nice kind mods(arent they all) would leave themselves logged in there so u cud pm them,

i agree the drawback was they had to check their messages,but at least u know who is online...
