Covered faces on cam?

Hi all, we’re quite new to all of this and went on cam for the first time last night. We try to be quite discreet so were a bit worried about the camera angle and keeping our faces out of view - it took a bit of the spontaneity away in all honesty!

Anyway we are considering camming again but wearing masquerade masks so we can do things a bit more freely. Just canvassing opinions:

- Have you ever seen other couples do this?

- Would it look ridiculous?

- Would people even care that we did that?

We really don’t want to broadcast our faces yet so trying to think of ways around it

And remember, depending on what you're doing, people probably won't be looking at your faces!

We wore masks when we used to cam. They were a bit awkward at times but nobody complained.

WE feel exactly the same had a cam meet but spent more time worrying about camera angle than having any fun lol

Purchased a mask but feel ridicules' wearing it lol

We aren’t exactly hiding, just like most people we have some boundaries and don’t want everyone watching to be able to see our faces. We quite enjoyed the idea of being looked at while were fooling around but if we were worried about being recognised that would make it more stressful than enjoyable. It’s just something new we were experimenting with, hence why we bother!

Totally get the point about people not necessarily looking at faces just wondered if others have seen or done it.

You could just get an eye mask rather than full on mask, no one would be able to tell if it was you I wouldn't think, saves wearing full on face masks and it being more awkward for you both, plus it keeps you mouth free for other uses

You could also create a spereate KIK account specifically for when you want to go on cam and just add people to your group that you trust maybe, might give you the freedom your after

We tried this but if we log in on the phone it logs us out of chat on the iPad or the Mac saying we can only be on chat using one device at a time!

Long story short we bought some silly masks

what really made us laugh was

It was on Skype and only us viewing.

couldn't see the point never mind her face .

Hi OP, I've seen couples wearing masks on cam before and it's not a problem. You'll receive comments about it I'm sure, but people will comment about things even if you weren't wearing masks. At the end of the day you're here for yourselves, so if you enjoy being watched on cam then just go for it .

Of course anything you do on cam could be recorded & there are unscrupulous types who will upload these to certain websites. If you are OK with this possibility then fine, if not go ahead and use some sort of disguise.

I don't think it would look silly, unless it was a Michael Myers or Tony Blair mask, that might put one or two people off.

We have held off doing cam stuff for similar reasons. People use screen recorders and we wouldn't want to risk a video with our identifiable faces getting out there. Apart from that I've heard people at work mention this website, so I know that at least a few of my colleagues come here to get wank material.

Well obviously because you ate wanting to talk to faces .. and rhey are wanting to get their rocks off so arent showing faces .. its a sex site not a face to face chat site ( unless perhaps in general room )

Live and let live I say ., bare all and show no face .. particularly if there was something more interesting to see .. or have a vanilla chat over a cuppa .. all works doesn’t it ! All a matter of perspective

Is this your limit, showing a bit of flesh on cam, because you are worried who might see your face.

Does this mean you would wear a mask while meeting somebody, it could be a guy from work or your cousins best friends as an example.

How would you go to a swinging club, there could be hundreds of people there who may know you. Then again it might not.

If you go to a club, event, seen on cam and somebody who you know recognises you, well they are here for exactly the same thing as you. Who knows this could be the start of a fantastic friendship.

Too many people know how to capture a video from web chat these days. Some people don't want the risk of their faces showing up online, that's all.

As for meets, people meet out of area, less chance of knowing someone. Clubs, well not everyone attends clubs.

Do what you are comfortable with and nothing more, there's nothing wrong with wearing a mask on cam.

Screen grabs are so easy nowadays so if privacy is a major concern like I would imagine it is to most people then why not?

Just enjoy yourself with no pressure from anyone else.

I never show my face on cam.

I work in the public sector and I have seen people on fabs who have been to my place of work and I don't want them knowing about my private life.

Each to their own is what I say.

There are a few people out there who don't know the meaning of discretion xxx
