Would be great if there was a link to a person / profile which you could use if they online and in chat room, rather than trawling through each room.

Wanting to chat to people you connect to isn't stalking.

To the OP it has been asked a few times, I am not sure Admin have decided whether to implement it or not but if they do I am sure they will let us all know by starting a thread

Only if there was an opt out of letting people know people would use it to stalk.

People already messages saying what room you in which I feel if you wanted people to know you could put on a status update. Being in chat doesn't always mean being in a room.
