I have a problem with cam chat...

In the white box in the top-right corner of the chat room screen, I click the link saying "click here to show your cam". When I click it, I get a pop-up asking me to allow Fab to use your cam. I click "allow" and only get a white box. No-one can see me but I show as though my cam is on.

I have flash and java installed. Im on a fresh install of Windows 10 Fujitsu AH530 laptop. All drivers are loaded. I can use the cam on sites like omegle. I have a similar set up on a Toshiba laptop and it works.

Any ideas please?

Log out again .... then.log in ... sometimes it works x

Tried that on several different days. I still have no cam though.

Sometimes it's the combination of your cam and your browser that makes a difference - I use Opera and it works fine - but other browsers mess me about. Try switching browsers and see does it behave for you.

You Dont Need to Know, right now

Try plugging something into the microphone socket of your laptop. This sometimes 'fools' the software into recognising your cam.

It has been a fix for a long time, no one knows why but it seems to work
