Sticking/stuttering cameras

I'm kinda hoping that there's a secret update to the chat software that someone's forgotten to install. I'm seeing the cameras sticking and stuttering a lot. Open a camera and watch it and the people may leave the room but every couple seconds it'll show a frame like they're still there.

Odds are high your machine is low on memory, or your line is doing other things (downloads) which are affecting it.

No it's much more basic . . with all that spunk flying about some of it will end up in the shutter iris.

Have you tried streaming say BBC I player? Next time it happens, try streaming iplayer and see if that's bad too. But if the machine has no problems, it's either cache related or connection.
