Private messages in chat

Why is it that when you get a pm in a chat room and start replying then someone else messages you it goes over the message you were trying to reply to so you have to delete that to get back to the original, then another pops up over it....really annoying!!

The whole pm systems sucks tbh.. if you are typing in main window and someone pm's you, you automatically continue typing in the pm box grrr.

Try dragging the new window to one side

You can minimise the main chat window to get to the pm boxes easier, drag the main to the left etc which helps or you can set your pms to friends only or nobody to stop the amount you get popping up

We're finding that it has become very hard to type text within private chat windows. It's all a bit stop start and unresponsive at times. We've never had this problem before and it's making chatting privately very frustrating. The problem doesn't happen elsewhere just in private chat.

Yes we are having the same problem, but both in PM & the main rooms. It's virtually unusable, constant freezing, typng a few letters then you can't see the rest of what you typed. This never used to happen. Is it lack of server power/too many users?

I find the PM feature in chat so user Un-friendly that I've disabled it altogether and just try to banter along in the main chat thread. It's a shame.

i agree it is annoying and sumtimes have been chatting to wrong person cus the box popped up wen i looked down at keyboard 4 a second
