Sound option in chat rooms.

I go onto the chat rooms regularly and yes 99.9% of the time i remember to turn my sound off but on the odd occasion i forget (i am only human after all) would it then because of this reason not be better to have the sound off as default when you enter the room and then choose to turn it on if you wish, rather than the way it is now.

So to recap have sound off as default then button to turn sound on, i know i am not the only one who feels the same, just an idea.

It's a very good idea, as a regular user of old chat when it was running I often forget to turn sound off it's bloody annoying

Tess, I agree with you!

99% of the time, I remember to turn off my sound. But there is the 1% of time when I forget.

I think that 'sound OFF' should be the default, so that those who want to broadcast "sound" have to make a conscious decision x

and another problem i have with sound in chat is its very broken up, like Norman Collier used to do in his act lol, whether i am listening to some one or on the odd occasion i do put my sound on and being listend too, now i know its not my external camara and mic as they both work fine in skype, is there a reason for this??
