using caps in chat room

Just been barred for caps being left on when typing a sentence in a chat room.

I usually start every sentence with a capital letter..but left caps on in error.

Only trying to type in English grammar.

Are moderators being a bit harsh?

Accidental or not, caps is against rules and a banable offence as stated in rules
