Cam Problem....Help please

Hi all. I have had a few probs with my laptop and had to uninstall/install some programs but now when I go into chat my cam does not come up on the top right hand side and if I click on someone elses cam it docks in the botto left corner but does not show me a picture. I have installed flashlayer 11 and rebooted but nothing. Any ideas please.
