Wakefield

So I am looking to do a lot of travelling throughout 2026 and looking for some naughty adventures. I have done PDI and know the dunes well but is Cap d’agde any good for single guys? Any information on hotels, clubs or just general areas to visit would be appreciated.

Costa Blanca Spain...

Firstly I wound think it better to put this in the France forum.

It is 4 years since we were last there so there could have been a few changes.

There are many things in Cap that are couples only. foam party's pool party's Etc. But there are also venues that are single guy friendly to a point and at a price.

The beach is free and there are no restrictions on single guys but for that reason it can become a bit top heavy with them. Having said that there are also lots of couples so there is plenty of action but you may do no more than just watch but you could also get lucky.

Most of the bars are mixed without restrictions but one or two, the Melrose for example, do not allow single guys.

The bars themselves are more social and/or sexy social. Guys with a bit of personality can do well, the ones who spend the night staring at their beer mat don't. We were always open to guys chatting up Mrs and had some very good sessions from that angle. However some couples don't want single guy attention so you will get some rejections.

Swinger clubs and sex venues vary in their tolerance of singles.

The Histories d'O sauna in Port Ambonne is split into two halves. One being couples only the other side mixed. Mrs has had a lot of fun in the mixed side there over the years. On bad weather days the place is packed during the day.

Kamasutra Spa is mixed and it can be action packed. Again Mrs had a lot of fun there.

Le Tantra swinger club is mostly mixed but there is a couples only area as well. Mrs as above.

The old Jeaux de Mains was really good a few years ago and did allow singles but it did start to go down hill and we believe it now has a new name.

Le Glamour is mostly couples but they did allow a few selected singles as well.

There are one or two other clubs that have popped up since we were last there but not sure of their policy's.

Last but far from least. Cap is a very expensive place to visit, even by French standards. In high season you won't get change from a grand a week for an apartment and the few hotels in the village range from very expensive to eye wateringly expensive. You can find cheaper outside of the village but it does dilute the experience.

Hope that helps.

Most single guys who are chatty, engaging and can string a sentence together and are not a limpet will do well.

Sitting in the corner nursing a pint all night, different story.

We've met both, even tried to chat to the lonely guy in a bar, total waste of time.

As others say, its an expensive place, so a studio would suffice, forget the hotels.

Maybe try beginning or end of season, its less full on and we've always had a good time.

We are there in September, say hello if you are there.

Go for it.

Last time we were in Cap we had a fabulous time

The beach was a bit top heavy with single guy’s but most we respectful of couples

As we do indulge with single guys it was no problem for us

There was always fun to be had in the clubs and saunas

The one thing as said by others it is very expensive

We will definitely be going again

This

We always preferred mid season, late June into early July.

Busy enough but not quite full on summer. One year we did go earlier, late May but it was very quiet, especially midweek.
