chatroom cam problem

Where we are supposed to have the option to hide cam and mic in the chatroom we have a notice saying cam and mic not enabled. we haven't changed any settings so don't know how this can have happened. any ideas on how to enable it?

How are you accessing chat? Mobile or desktop chat? Which browser?

You will need to enable permissions it sounds like. Usually you'll find the option on the address bar.

We are using desktop and the browser is Chrome but we did try Edge too. We aren't very tech savvy so wouldn't have a clue how to go about enabling or what to look for.

If you are on the open chat room in chrome there should be a little icon that looks like a camera to the right of your address bar, check you don't have access blocked.

Or you may need to clear cookies and history and try and connect again. Hopefully this helps.
