Because moderators have to uphold site rules not just personal rules. What if a room creator wants to show knife play on cam drawing blood from a partner. That is illegal and could leave the site prone to legal action.

I support this..would reduce number of lurkers..free up the chat a bit so you could actually follow what was going on..and arguably make the place feel a bit more friendly .

What are you talking about? A private room is a private room. If you create it, you moderate it. Kick or add people as you like, it's your private room. If something needs reporting to site admin, report it but beyond that, theres no issue with private rooms needing mods.

You obviously dont understand what a "private room" is then. If we where to create "private room" on any chat forum only people we invited would be allowed in the room and we would be the ones moderating it and fab would no doubt keep a chat log of all activity and deal with any issues if someone reports a breach of site rules.

That's how private chat rooms work. There isnt individual on hand moderators watching the chat anymore than there is for the current public chat rooms. Issues are dealt with after they are reported, not as they happen. If a moderator is on hand at the time, great, if not, you have to wait.

Cant help you any further if you dont understand that.

Yet that isn't an issue on at least one other major swinging site and could equally happen here in any room given that moderators are always few and far between. People on live cam here can say, do and show what they want for as long as they wish until they're reported and dealt with by mods/admin. What's the difference?

Probably the main reason fab has moderators in chat rooms is they can't deal with all the issues themselves, Unless its a serious issue or people challenge why they have been banned I doubt they even look into it,

Maybe fab would have dedicated admin to monitor the private room chat ?

Have a limited number of private rooms ?

Charge extra for these rooms ?

But there is other platforms to do this if people want it,

I also think one of the reasons fab doesn't have more detailed choices on the people search, height, weight etc is not to exclude people especially people paying to use the site, Setting up private rooms would also do this
