Old Scotland Chat Room

It has come to a lot of our notice that the Old Chat room is getting slower and freezing more and more regularly, which is driving the regulars out. I believe I cam safely say on behalf of myself and a lot of other members, that we do like the old chat, want to stay in old chat and do NOT want to be driven into new chat, for various different reasons.

Can admin advise us what is happening with the old chat room? At lot of us are happy in there and would like to see the room remain. New chat is too fast, cumbersome with various other problems which I am no doubt they are aware of.

All thoughts and opinions welcomed.

Can only agree with what you say dess ...its always freezing up and going slow. i for one do not want to lose this room... yes i for pop into new chat now and again but never for more than ten mins as it gets on my nerves!! Maybe old chat will never be the same again but us regulars want it kept and enjoy it!! Here is hoping it gets fixed

If there are problems with userplane the best thing to do is mention it in the chat feedback section as Admin get in touch with them.

I will move this to the section where it will be noticed more.

Hoops ...The Quiz you organised where a success.

Why dont ya instigate them again,post the dates on the forums,and the results.

Not only will it create banter in the old chat room but also on the forums.

Where theres a room full of Women ,then Men will follow.

Just one suggestion .

Unfortunately old chat technology and reliability is out of our hands so all we can do is poke userplane about it (which we have done).

The lack of reliability and problems with old chat were the primary motivation for our in-house new chat.

Marvellous !

Many moons ago everyone 'hated' Userplane so what happened ? The site created their own chat platform and now Userplane is the best thing since sliced bread ..

How does the saying go ?

You can't please all of the people ..................
