Stockport

There’s one on the East side of Ullswater, right on the lake edge called Waterside (not the larger one a little inland called Park Foot). I’ve camped there before and thought this is just about big enough to get lost in a corner, without it getting too crowded to have neighbours forced on you. There’s a pub just a ten minute stroll up the lake at Pooley Bridge with a nice beer garden. Give me a nod if you want a disturbed night’s sleep this summer. X
