We have been going for many many years. It can be very windy so choose your pitch wisely if using a roof tent. Check the tide times so can you arrive on time ( no admissions after 8/9pm). The little camping shop is well stocked for anything you may have forgotten, the food supermarket on site is expensive. If taking children and it’s raining don’t miss out on a trip to Harlech where there’s a great public swimming oool with climbing centre and a cheap good cafe, which does at roast dinner on a Sunday. Enjoy your trip.

Just for the record you can get about .75 miles from the naturist section by heading to Dyffryn Seaside Estate caravan park. Head past the shop and cafe towards the dunes and there is a gate which heads off to the right of the dunes...go through there to the next style which is as far as you can go.

Been to shell island for years its a bit commercialized now, I remember payin 6quid a tent now you have to pay pp an even pay for a dog, still a lovely place to go, some nice little hiding places too, if you can get a small watercraft dinghy, kayak, boat id take it, take a walk up to llanbedr falls while your there too
