Went to the Fabs weekend so tent & all the gear is out.

If anyone can recommend any good locations / sites around South Wales please let us know as we'd like to make the most of the summer weather & just get out & about a bit (even if local forecast isnt so good this weekend), through the rest of July & August.

Looking for any picturesque locations / sites within a couple of hours drive of Cardiff.

Can't remember the road number but basically if you follow the coast (aiming for Swanage) pass Swanage, aim for Corfe Castle and turn right (or left depending on which way you approach) under the steam train railway bridge after a couple of miles - at the highest point - the bay opens up in front of you. Drive by Knoll car park - heading for the ferry - and park as near to the bus stop on the west bound side as you can. Walk in there (about 15 casual minutes), turn right and set up - in the dunes if you want to be naughty or straight onto the beach.
