Fridge not working

Hi I have a quest 3 way portable fridge and it won't get cold turned it upside down overnight unplugged put it on yesterday morning got back from a day out at skomer still no good turned it on its side back front shook it plugged it in this morning at 7 still not good is it dead can they be recharged is it worth it thanks in advance

Can it be used on gas and electric? We had one that failed on gas but worked on electric. We had it fixed the part cost a couple of quid the Labour 60

I am using it on electric at the moment not tried gas or 12volt

There might not be enough amps in the electric for the fridge

Think your fridge is 30 to 40amps so not enough power I would imagine

I think it's 0.36 amps is what is says on the back I think its dead as its not smelling very good it's unplugged now

Try it on 12v or gas if that works it is the 240v hearing element that has burnt out, you may be able to get the element on eBay. This is what I did with our caravan 3 way fridge.

Fridge only works on 12v when engine is running will not run off battery direct for very long.6amps 240v is plenty to run fridge the it on gas.
