So tent boxes (not specifically the tentbox brand). We lay down in one the other day at the camping store. We didn't fully test is because I don't think I could have kept Mrs Misfit quiet enough. Anyway we're very tempted for touring. The idea of just popping up and being in bed a couple of minutes later. However big investment and also considering the pitfalls. Such as getting it on and off the roof bars (we want a big one), risk of vanidism/theft when on ect.

Who has one? How they finding it? Good idea, bad idea? What's people's thoughts and experiences

Get a hard shell one we have an ikamper skycamp 2 expensive be quality although landtraker do one very similar and built just as good

I have the tentbox lite 2.0 and love it i do alot of motorsport marshaling and other various camping trips can have it set up and in bed in 10 minutes
