couple, us we him her.

Proper camper here, yes tent all the way.

I don't class caravans or campervan as camping I mean we've sat there watched someone rock up in a huge caravan spend about 4hrs setting it up, made a fort like structure with windbreaks and awnings. Then put TV on shut all the curtains and watch telly.

Could have stayed at home for that!!

We have a large air tent, poly cotton Vango one.

It's awesome, we also have a smaller one for weekend get aways.

Near Alfreton, Derbyshire

Been tent camping for a couple of years.

Just upgraded the little 2, 4 and 6 berth tents to a berghaus air tent.

Upgraded bed to an air mattress which is amazing..

Sometimes I might go to a show withba truck tent on the back of the pickup and a 4inch thick foam mattress.. again works well. But no space for fun.

This year, Candy and I are looking for some decent sites for fun around the East Midlands and Yorkshire areas.

"we have a camper van and use a tent rather than a awning. cook in the tent. i sleep in it if shes snoring lol"

My preference.

Set the tent up ajacent to the sliiding door of the van.

Sleep in the comfort of the van and use the tent for cooking, storage etc. With the tent awning making the interface to the van. Keep foul weather wear and boots airing in the tent.

In certain situations the tent can mate with the van tailgate but that makes a very long unit. Depends on the shape of the pitch.

Magnets, the really powerful ones out of old hard drives, are your friends for mating tent and van.

We’re also naturists but unfortunately due to the lack of sites we do spend a fair amount of time on textile sites, however luckily we do have plenty of friends who join us and we tend to pick the smaller sites so we can get away with far more, obviously we have to be sensible and it has to be adults only.

To be fair in an adult only setting people tend to be chill with nudity as long as its done respectfully out the way and not in people's faces. Definitely wish there were more designated naturist or clothing optional site because there's always that concern someone takes offence.

We tend to do a lot of wild swimming as nature intended. We've not had issues with passers by yet. But again we do our best to apply common sense and respect.

I have a small 1 person tent for bicycle and motorbike touring, two 2 person tent for weekend breaks and a 4 person one for longer holidays when I have loads of kit.

"Those with air tents, have they been reliable?

We've had air tents for years after getting sick of poles snapping. You can repair a puncture on your air bladder so a puncture isn't a problem. We once had a problem with a valve but managed to cobble something to get us through the weekend which can be done for any tent. We just bought a new bladder once home and all is good. We would never have a tent with poles again, air tents are much more reliable and easier to put up and down. They are also better in the wind, don't buckle in the wind like poled tents

We're tent campers. We have an octagon tent which we love as there's plenty of room and can stand up in it.

We joined a campers tg group but it's 99% motorhomers and campervans, and would be great to be part of a group of tent only camping couples for some nice summer getaways. If there's any such thing let us know, but we're only interested in couples only camping...sorry single men.

"Those with air tents, have they been reliable?

Just buy a spare airbeam. They pack down to nothing as we found puncture repairs a bit of a faff.

They are bulky when packed up but a big poled tent is considerably heavier than a big air tent.

The tent material will make a difference.

But as most manufacturers do air tents that kind of tells you all you need to know.

Wild camping this summer, doing North Wales down to South Wales.

Be great to meet other campers on my travels.

I’m getting to old now for my glamping set up.

If anyone’s interested I hit a whole set up for sale. It’s like buying a turnkey house. I selling it all.

It would be suitable for a couple of people who love camping but prefer some luxury.

PM me if you’d like more details

We do tent camping. We both ride motorcycles and do moto camping. Also car camping. Love all sorts of camping, especially if it’s a secluded pitch at adults only campsite 🤭

Fingers crossed we will go camping or staying at lodges/ camping pod on 24th-26th April. It would be nice to meet similar couples and ladies 😜

Someone willing to take me camping ? Want to try it first before I get my own gear 😁

Easygoing, love nudist beaches and adult-only campsites or wild camping

Tent camper here. Got a nice Outwell tent when driving, and a lightweight Vango for hiking. Looking at the late May bank holiday for the next trip...
