What's the best tent you have ever owned?

We have two, although one will probably be going at some point soon.

Had a khyam biker plus se for a couple of years. Supposed to be a 3 person but id say more like a 2. Just me who uses it though. Wanted something i could stand in, and with their rapidex pole system i can pitch it in under 5 minutes now. Great tent.

They went under last year but seem to be back with different management.

Any recommendations for campsites in Hampshire? I use rowbury farm a lot, near stockbridge, and etherley farm in the Surrey hills.

Got a decathlon Quesua 2 person fresh n black tent . It's erect in seconds and cool inside when the sun s beating down. And the blackout feature means very little light gets in ,so can easily have 40 winks even in the sunniest of days . Just need someone to share it with on my wild camping trips .

Currently, if you buy a tent from Decathlon, you can return it in September I believe and as long as there is no significant damage, they will give you the full value back as a credit voucher! Check smallprint before you buy, but no better excuse to get out in the wild!

We recently bought a Quechua Arpenaz 4.2 and tested it out over the weekend just gone. Had a battle putting it up in strong winds but pretty solid once it was erected (the tent, of course).

Two separate sleeping compartments and a living area in the middle. I'm 6'4" and we had no issue with space.

Good value in our opinion!

There's a lack of campsites in Hampshire, mostly glamping site's with huts and the like.

It wasn't long ago when ten pounds a night was expensive for a pitch, I've recently found some £65 a night on a "back to basics" site.

Which smack's of people just trying to exploit camper's by providing the least amount of facilities but charging as much as possible in the name of being classed as " eco"

Bloody rip off.

We have a Vango Rivendale 500XL Airtent. We've only used it 4 times and now selling it as we are converting a van into a camper. Top of the range tent with an expanse amount of room. Air tents are the best, this would be our 2nd as we upgraded

We have an old 8 man tunnel tent for just me wifey and dog . We only put up two rooms, so we always have plenty of space. And it’s surprisingly easy to put up , I often do it while wifey is “ making friends “.

I have the 3man XL version of this. Plenty of room inside,and easy to put up. Needs a few practices to take down though

Is this the 2 second fresh n black pop up umbrella style.. if so A must get to enhance it is the awning.. it makes such a difference sitting in it .it fits the two or three man tent ..
