electric camping cookers?

hi all

i know this is nowt to do with swinging. we normally take a double gas burner. but with going on sites with elec hook up. was thinking of getting a double electric hob. save the gas. are they any good is the question?

They're worth having. We have 2000w in total one but you can't turn up to full on all sites.

Have a look at induction hobs they do camping specific ones single or double depending on your needs.

I’ve an air fryer it works well on either mains or inverter get a low power one or you’ll trip the mains overload

i use a single induction hob ..one drawer airfrier..and a cadac compact ...in my my micro camper plus given a new £30 700watt 17 litre microwave ...all bases covered ...use a nash blockhouse fishing bivi as the awning

We've got a tower multi cooker, they're about £25 in b&m, brilliant for doing everything from a full breakfast to a slow casserole.

We have one as well, been use one of these type of cook pan for years with our leisure battery and inverter for years.

we have used a ceramic hob for a couple of year much better

Induction hobs are available, anything is available actually but check power ratings as camping specific are usually low wattage to allow you to use at full even when you are on a hated feed as many hook ups are...UK you should only have a 10Amp feed max so need to plan what you are using...if running form the direct feed...depending on set up you might be able to use leisure batteries to power some items and mains hok up for others ...have fun...will now be looking at the mulitude of camper vans in. Different light

to late lol. we have all will see witch is best. was trying to cut down on the gas. if your playing for a hook up. might aswell make the most of it

hi al i’ve got a ninja smoker . grill .bbq.and air fryer they very expensive but you can do every thing in it from a fry up to steak and chips to a full sunday roast and all out side my van it’s brilliant

I use a Remoska in my van

Got it from Lakeland Plastics in Windermere

Very useful low wattage piece of kit

Easily stored and cleaned
