Not quite free parking but £6 overnight

Coach street carpark in the centre of skipton plenty of restaurants/pubs in 5/10 minutes walking distance some with live music at the weekend.

It's called the horseshoe hotel, lovely pub, with nice food..

It's not far from gothland, where you can get a steam train into Whitby, I stayed at abbots house farm campsite, in gothland it was really nice, it overlooks the steam railway

Tan hill inn in North Yorkshire (highest put in England) it's a awsome little park up for a night is a tenner to park but that goes to the air ambulance. They have acoustic nights on Fridays (free) and gigs on a weekend that are ticketed
