Hi,

Can anyone offer advice for the best place to stop with a campervan in Kendal? Either just parking up, or a site, but next weekend late nov. so it would have to be a year round site.

We tried to ask the forums foremost Kendal resXXXXnts directly but couldn't because "you are too old" 🤣 It's tough when you become too old to ask for advice

up north

We always stop at the kendal cricket club carpark, they allow campers for a £10 per night fee, theres no facilities. Only 2 minutes walk into town centre.

Kendal

Spital Caravans in Kendal always looks popular. Would be great to meet you if you are up for that too. xx

might be wiser to phone the Kendal tourist office than take a chance on a so called expert,,,

"tourist office"? Thanks.Worthy.

But boring. I mean, why give up the chance to engage with nice knowledgeable people on here by phoning the tourist office😅

Cricket club looks the odds on favourite as long as it is open. 2 minutes to town is the clincher.

Still £10 overnight. Honesty box on clubhouse wall if arriving late.

It was busy because Kendal Mountain Festival was on. Or something similar. Full of cars, not campers.
