Planning on doing the Coast to Coast Walk in July 2024.

Anyone else doing it around the same time or next year

I was thinking about it. Maybe not the whole thing but perhaps a week doing the East or West half.

I decided it was a bucket list activity to do next year and going in big with it and doing the full trek.

Definitely... I always wild camp on my big hikes..

I did the Henridean Way in August which was brilliant..

Also done the Westhighland Way 3 times and the Speyside Way and the Cumbria Way too. The Cape Wrath trail is in the planning stages now too for 2025.

The Scottish Long distance trails are a different level of beauty.. Have you done any mate?

I'm assuming you're taking a tent. Not wearing glitter for 190 miles?

Definitely a tent for some wild camping, I think I'll leave the glitter at home I don't want it getting into my sleeping bag

"Tarp and bivvy "

Prefer a tent for a 10 day hike. Comes in handy for a bit of private time too.

I was going to ask how big your sleeping-bag was but didn't want to seem forward in an innocent hiking thread lol
