"Would definitely need toilets for campers.. Other wise your looking at people with motorhomes or caravans that have their own facilities.. So rules me out.. " We fully understand. When we open fully next yr obviously toilets, showers etc possible hot tub and sauna will be in place. So campers will be more than welcome.

"Camping now seems to be divided into clear groups. 1: considerate campers who follow site rules and respect other people. 2: middle class yobs who turn up with brand new everything take over and don't give two craps about noise, mess and the country code. 3:caravaners who turn up who have no interest in socialising, spend hours setting up then shut the door and go and watch TV sitting on the couch. 4: free spirits who are nice and friendly usually in a very small two person tent but like to sit around until the early hours talking around a campfire keeping everyone awake. 5:the mayhem family, wild kid's running amok kicking ball's into others stuff whilst mum and dad get shit faced on cheap cider and White wine. Usually with a noisy dog. 6: rambler's who are only there for the night and gone before dawn. Now as a campsite owner which users are you aiming to attract? Camping has been ruined for us since lockdown, the "staycation" has attracted people who usually spend their summer holidays in magaluf getting wankered on the all inclusive drinks and shouting "OI OI" at the top of their voice at every opportunity. My point is rules. You either have them or you don't. If you do, enforce them and allow everyone to enjoy the countryside not just one or two. Or have no rules and make it known so people can choose to stay or not given their own personal needs." Thank you for the input. We are getting a great deal of feed back regards rules. Getting the balance is going to be tricky hence the offer of free camping on the 14/15 september to hopefully get a few enthusiasts together to go over such things and help us be ready for when we open next year.

"Certainly sounds like a great idea but as a lot of people have said it's going to need more facilities to really take off. How many campers motorhomes tent's would you be looking to cater for at any one time ?" Yes of course there will be more facilities. Toilets showers kitchen sauna hot tub indoor area when it is up and running. So all campers will be catered. for This september is just a little free get together to help with the planning.

Hi. If your new camp has electric hook-up, over 18 policy and naturist, we'll be visiting very often

"Are you thinking of setting up as a general campsite, or as a specific naturist place?" Simple answer do not know. We are not sure if there would be enough take up to run it full time as a specific naturist site. At present our thoughts are leaning towards specific weeks/weekends for adults only. This is what the weekend of the 15/16 is about finding out what people want whilst having a great time meeting new people. Is the location alright What facilities are needed/desired How to lay the site out Glamping units Are dogs welcombe Day pass Clothed or un clothed Single men Fires/bbq Frequency of use Etc etc From the first day the site opens we want all our guest to have an amazing time and not want to leave.

"Might be worth taking up camping again. Unfortunately, working on those dates. It has promise and your profile does indicate your target customers. Keep us posted. Nothing like a bit of “Carry On Camping” antics. We wonder who you could be ??? " ??. Thanks

" With regard to your concern about take-up if it was a naturist site, our opinion is that with the shortage of naturist sites in the south of England and those that already exist being usually full, that a new naturist or clothing optional site would be very popular. There are caravan/camping sites everywhere but there is a huge gap in the market for more clothing optional places. Electric hook-ups though are a must. Good luck in your venture.

"could be worth looking into a couple of portaloos to hire i think most people would rather have the option especially if in tents and although we have a self contained set up and can go off grid with no facilities we need to empty ours every other day." For the weekend of the 15/16 we are now hiring a portaloo and marque as we have had more interest then expected. Next year there will be purpose built toilets and showers etc for when we open

"We have a small/medium size dog (Spaniel cross) and no one at home to leave him with. So when we are away he naturally comes with us. If you have an area for pet owners and make it a rule that they have to control their pets and you install a dog poo bin, then you will attract more customers who cannot go to other sites where pets are not allowed. There are a lot of couples who are in our position who want to attend places like your one but cannot due to the pet rule. Making it pet friendly would a definite bonus " I've been to a site a couple of times where dogs have been permitted and there were no problems whatsoever. Owners were very responsible and even the guy who had a massive scary looking dog exercised it with a muzzle and on a leash away from everyone. I agree with the above permitting dogs, but with sensible rules in place, will open up your potential customer base.
