Hi all hope everyone is well. I am thinking about joining Caravan Swingers and wandered if it was pretty popular as a club and still active? I am a single respectful polite guy and use my car to camp in. Would love some fun when I go away.

I am giving the nudist beach near Barmouth a go next week with a friend

Don't see the difference if you use a car/van or a tent really and that wasn't the question

There’s a world of difference between inviting someone back to your fully equipped motorhome with fridge, toilet, washbasin and bed and asking if they fancy a shag in the back of your car…

That's definitely not camping, that involves a tent campervan or motorhome, definitely not a car!!

Most genuine campsites, even private ones wont let you stay without a minimum of a tent. And from a woman's perspective what would be their preference, car or tent over a well equipped caravan or motor home?

Actually I've stayed at two normal campsites in the last two months which had no problem not having a tent and using the car. Fair one about the woman's perspective preference

Incorrect. Dosing is when you take or give someone medication, or when you adulterate a substance with another (secretly added) substance.

My car-camper is excellent by the way - it has a fully fitted tent-inner and electric hookup, plus an awning and pop-up kitchen. And I've pulled every time I've used it - twice in one day on one occasion!

OP, don't listen to the negative comments, car camping is the new cool

Shagging on the back seat is different from what you have !

Not everyone can afford a van or a caravan and plenty of campers on the continent camp in cars... Not sure about shagging in one though. But get yourself out there and maybe someone will invite you back to their van.

Have fun

Apart from a good bed you need a fridge for the wine and decent shower and toilet ;_) Most women don't like to rough it and tramping across a camp site (or field) for a pee at night raining or not is not everyone's idea of a fun night......... Ladies, please correct me if I'm wrong

For the past two years I have used a Mercedes estate as a camper.

It is only a two seater and like the OP I have a very good quality memory foam mattress - double bed size - fitted.

I have been to Spain and Portugal with it 4 times already as well as going somewhere most weekends here. Mainly used for wild open water swimming, hillwalking and kayaking.

No,it's not a full blown camper but it is very roomy, very comfortable and a very cheap means of spending nights at different remote locations.

Here in Ireland all along the river Shannon and it's lakes there are clean shower and toilet units that you can use.

I have no interest in cooking, even if I had a proper camper, so I bring some food, fruit etc with me and then have meals wherever there are restaurant or pub grub facilities.

Can it be used for swinging? - not ideal - but I have had company on a good few occasions and we had plenty of fun and pleasure.

I could easily pack a tent as well but I don't see the point - the estate is roomier than many small tents, it is dry and warm even on the depths of winter.

To be honest it has been a great buy and I have had a lot of pleasure with it and it was very cheap to buy and is very economical to run.

As a follow on to my message above.

I will be attending the O.E.E (Overland Expedition Exhibition) at Stratford on Avon on 16/17 September with the estate.

Good camping and camper van facilities there.

I've found that good compromise is to acquire a grey import Japanese shagging wagon.

Young people in Japan usually live at home with their parents and own 7 or 8 seaters and it's not so they can carry lots of rear passengers!

They nearly all have blinds in the back as well as privacy glass and, of course, the seats all fold flat and can usually be configured imaginatively.

To keep camp sites happy, I normally put up a modest frame tent (without the inner rooms but with a groundsheet) alongside the side sliding door. All permanent sites have toilets and most have reasonable showers. For No1 toilet visits and dire emergencies I set up a camping toilet box in the tent along with basic washing facilities.

Lots of us started our camping life with basic facilities and I chuckle at the elitism rearing its head on this thread!

"No chance i'd be getting in the back of a car even with a memory foam haha!"

Would it still have the imprint of the previous shag ?

I had never slept on a memory foam until I bought this mattress. They are so comfortable it makes you wonder why ordinary mattresses are still being sold.
