A box at end of your bed

My guess is it's the time of year summer is all but over and it's getting colder at nights. Think lots of people started packing campers and caravans away for the winter.

Most big vans are insulated and have heating.

Use it all year round because it’s not good to park them up for 4/5 months.

We do pub stopovers at weekends just to keep the van in use and battery’s charged up.

That's a fair point if you have a campervan but for those of us with folding campers or tents theses have to be packed away dry or the canvas goes mouldy and rots, difficult to dry them fully in the winter so most get packed away and stored.

My motorhome is on the road all year round and spend most of my winter weekends around the Salisbury Plains mostly wild but if my battery needs a top up through lack of sun for my solar panels I’ll book into a campsite and hook up to the electric for the night
