I agree granton is nice, tbh anywhere around Aviemore area is quite nice. Like carrbridge which has a minted wee bridge.

The boarders has some nice open areas if you fancy more of a hiking style camp

We thought of heading up that way but booked elsewhere .. agreed not enough fabbing going on lol still. Fun can be where you find it .. what I did notice at our site was a lot of bikers single camping. Or two and three people meeting up ..

perhaps we could manage a camp out up your way . Is the site good ?

Reading all these posts think it's time I ventured into the loft and raked the camping gear out .

So many good places to re visit and who knows social round the camp fire.

Making love in a tent with the rain hitting the tent is fab x

I’ve been out camping a number of times this year and never failed to meet new people .. everyone just seems so friendly.. got few more weekends away booked.. so I’d say get your camping gear out the loft and just go.. .

Some beautiful motor homes out there.. always wanted one but just a tad expensive.. As much as I have enjoyed my camping so far it can be a bit of a bind packing everything into the car and setting up the camp.. we will put up with it for the next few years then perhaps go for a camper ..
