Hi, I am looking to buy a van to convert to a simple day van but stuck on what to look for as this will be my daily drive so needs to be good on fuel.

I will be going away for 3 to 4 days at the most and will need a double bed with storage, I will use a camping stove and use a cooler box so don't need anything fixed in.

Any advice would be helpful x

You may be able to pick up a suitable van quite cheaply in the future. What you will have to take into consideration is !!! will you be driving your van regularly in a clean air zone area.

That are popping up everywhere.

If you’re on your own, a vw caddy is a pretty good piece of kit. Quite simple to knock up what you require inside. Bench sofa down the side with storage underneath which pulls out to make a bed with clever use of the back foam of the sofa. (If that makes sense!)

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro LWB, my second one good on fuel and reliable plus cheaper to buy than VW...
