Hello all at moment we got a caravan and tow it with our car , but thinking of getting a bigger van converted something like a VW crafter, but when we got the caravan on the pitch the car is handy to get out and about , do people stay on site with motor homes / large vans etc really dont know what to do

You will find those with camper vans take them offsite more, parking up in town etc. with a 7m motorhome isn't that easy. Its horses for courses

Ah, the age old question; I'm biased of course, but I'd say a caravan.

For a start, you have much more space in a caravan, for moving around, for storage, unless of course you are going to buy a comparable sized motorhome, and then you have problems and issues.

And I note that you said motorhome, not a campervan.

Guess it all depends on you personal needs. If you are looking to tour and go from place to place then a motorhome is good but if you looking to chase down to South of France pitch up for the sun for three weeks then caravan I guess. They both are equally good dependant on the holiday you want

Tameside

You go to places with motorhome parking, check out before hand saves driving round on a wasted journey
