First summer as a caravan owner, looking to do a lot of travelling around Scotland. Anyone have any recommendations for locations? Anyone have the same plans? Is there other caravan owners who have meets?

You can say that again! Scotland in summer is not the place to be outdoors most of the time that’s for sure.

Judging by the numbers planning to do the nc500 there won't be enough mozzies to go around

I stayed on Loch Ness one summer in the Youth Hostel there. It is right on the loch and the part I slept in was an old boat house that was built over the water. Fabulous place but you couldn’t open windows or doors without a full mouthful of mozzies despite there being mesh every where.

Suffolk - East Anglia

We're caravanning down south and the west country from May. Some discreet fun in naturist camping sites - can't wait.
