We have booked to go to St Davids in Pembrokeshire that week and whilst the ccc accepted our booking and deposit there seems to be some confusion at the moment regarding people travelling from England Wales for a holiday. Let's hope it's all cleared and allowed otherwise we will be looking to go somewhere else

16/17 April will mean self contained so need to take a loo with you. errrrr how do I do that with the tent and my bike or even on the bus. .

May have to resort to Wild camping and be a bear in the woods. Did it all over Great Britain when in the Army, so no change there then. (Leave it like you have never been there). Wish People would do that at Dawlish Warren.

We'll have to wait till after 17th May as we don't have a self contained unit, only a tent. That's if the road map is all on track.

We only have a tent, but we'll take a portaloo - assuming we're still allowed then...

We had that discussion but we don't want it sloshing about in the back of the car on the way home

Also, how many strangers would walk past and use our toilet tent if they were desperate

We'll be emptying ours before we leave - the disposal points will be available & we don't have a separate toilet tent (like our medieval one, our modern tent is big enough to have a loo in a separate area)

"Looking to head to Devon somewhere around seaton, anyone around????"

I will be wild camping around Weston Mouth in the woods and the Beach or Budleigh Salterton, both naturist beaches.

Would the place you empty waste not be classed as communal area and be cordoned off. That was our thinking when they say all facilities will be closed and self contained units only. Suppose you need to dispose of waste water too and that always builds up quickly so would think we are wrong

According to the website, the water and disposal points will be open, but showers, toilets & washing up areas will be closed
