I'd like to say a big hello to everyone I met last night. Hope you are all well. Thanks for the hospitality its was very welcoming and a very good atmosphere. I'm looking at coming back very soon. I didn't want to go as early as I had to. I'd have liked to have said good bye.

To anyone thinking about going here then do so. Theres a very good vibe about the place, so be kind and enjoy the vibe.

we dont like the increase especially time of year when not many venture out anyway to campsites but not much choice or say on the matter,theres a few of us that go so now its prompted us to buy a 12 man tent and all use that so it means we now pay less for us all to go,if theres only 6 then we would camp in truck.the site will have its over heads so will have todo what it has todo but thats what we done as it was the price that attracted us to this camp in the 1st place making it affordable todo in the current times

Hi everyone,

Regarding the prices on this site.

There will not be any price increase until spring next year when the toilets and showers are completed on the site, apart from the tents with hook ups, which will be charged at the same rates as camper vans, commencing 1st November.

Our biggest expense is the running cost of the hot tub, and cleaning it, so as of the 1st of November there will be a surcharge of £5.00 per person per hour, there will be tokens available to buy.

We hope this is acceptable,

The average cost of 1 kw hour of electricity in the UK is 14.37p. So assuming the hot tub is 6kw then it costs roughly 14.37 x 6 = 90p per hour to run.

It will be switched on 24/7, but not consuming electricity 100% of the time, but say it consumes power for 16 hours per day then that's 90 x 16 = £14.40 per day. Plus cost of chemicals used etc.

So being generous it will cost about £20 maximum to run per day.

We think that this latest pricing is a little steep, £5 per person per hour for using the hot tub is an extortionate price, nobody including us will not be wanting to pay that especially when it doesn't cost that much to run one at home, this is one of the thing that make the place appealing to people....it's going to make people not want to attend.

the pricing is going from bad to worse but obviously not thought out,if u take a average cple using the hot tub 3 to 4 hours a day thats 30 to 40 pounds a day,dont think thats going to happen is it,we go reguler may i had and if it isnt busy ie no one waiting to use the hot tub we can be in there 6 to 7 hours a day,we would have to be rich to afford that,we have 4 cples coming here this weekend and have told many more but how can we say its a great place now when its become all about money,our group wont be using the hot tub with this silly pricing structure along with others that read it,i know its not you george and jenni but the owners really need to look at a fixed price thats fare,thje opther naturist sites within reach are lakeside,whiterose,ashdene and hss where the owners can look at the price they charge and whats offered,ie heated outdoor swimming pools,hot tubs,bar areas,club house,this site was doing so well but instead of building it to get custom the silly price of 5 pound per hour is a deterant.i really do understand if they need to put prices up but without attracting people to return and build it up first they might as well kip down the road in a field for free

Not having been to this campsite I can only go by what I have read in the forum.

It's advertised on a swinging forum, so if it were swingers only, then the prices could be higher than a normal campsite.

But we are told that it is NOT swingers exclusive which means play will be limited to in the MH, caravan or tent. No quick shags out in the open, same as any other campsite then.

As far as I can see there are no toilet and shower blocks, tho they may be constructed this winter. Normal camsites would certainly have these, so price should be reduced to allow for this fact.

If the hottub is £5 an hour per person, it won't get used by swingers or naturists, hence the opportunities to sit and chat to new people are limited. Bad move.

this is a really good site but getting embarrassing at the lack of thought put in to the pricing structure which will have damaging effects if not sorted for people being put off visiting,it needs the people involved to sit and work out a fiexd suitable price thats fair to motorhomes,tents and hire of caravans ect,as it is now according to the facebook site,a tent requiring electric has to pay 5 pounds while a caravan/motorhome only has to pay 3 pounds,this is really showing no thought has gone into it along with the silly prices of hot tub thats just killed it compleately,ignore all the silly hidden extras and just charge a fair visiter fee,you have all the info on other campsites to follow and learn by,example why pay to use a hot tub extra,do others do this,on the other hand why let dogs on free as other camps charge for this,this pricing really needs sorting quickly and behind shut doors until its ready to go public and finalised,george and jenni are doing a great job on fetching the site up to spec but their hands are tyed on the pricing which is from the owners,hopefully feedback from here goes back to owners so that they can save the people that have visited already on numerous occassions and not drive them away to other sites

If the price is free for dogs why are people complaining, why should campsites charge for a dog? We clean the crap and rid the rubbish so we do not pay for our dog, drive on if there is a charge, campsites in the UK are terrible!

Clearly the owners of this site haven’t got a clue about running this place, they haven’t got the first idea about pricing and facilities, they clearly haven’t done any research on how to run this type of business.... saying it’s a naturist site and then broadcasting it for swinging purposes when it clearly isn’t for swingers, is beyond my understanding..... I for one think it needed researching and facilities made readily available before opening for business...

I think more planning is needed before it loses custom permanently

I’ve just booked in. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities are good for the £15 fee I’ve paid that includes an electric hook up. I’m sat in the hot tub as we speak. I don’t see your issue?

Looks like I’ll be booking a static caravan in Mablethorpe instead of taking the tour anywhere in November as most touring sites are closing mind you the prices aren’t bad between £110 and 150 for seven nights
