Huntin shootin fishin but for the wild camping you best go north of the border unless you want to get arrested

they turn a blind eye in the lakes as long as you get farmers permission put your tent up just before dark pack it up first light and leave it exactly how you found it

If only everyone did that ( the leave it as you found it bit)

I used to do a bit of bushcraft and we did quite a few weekend camps in the borders, spent a fair bit of time there and I'm now one of the woodland wardens.

Camp a lot in the winter months in my tipi with a woodburner for warmth and cooking on .

Love going wild camping in the Lake District, enjoy a nice walk before pitching the tent settling down for the evening then leaving early in the morning.

Its hard to beat gently swaying in the hammock somewhere peaceful although I seem to be doing mainly bivvy camps the last couple of years.

The midges are starting to die off now as it's starting to get a bit cold for them but they will be back again in the spring.

Winter is the best time of year for camping in Scotland but maybe not best for outdoor naked activities

Just bought myself a 3x3 and a 4x4 dd tarp and the front line dd hammock for wild camping also picked up a oex phoxx IIv2 tent aswell can't wait till they are well I have the 3x3 tarp and off camping tonight in a tarp tent
