We intend to wild camp this weekend.

Fortunately we live 5 miles from a spot we know. So if we get approached by the police we will say we are taking time out for domestic reasons

Ie we cant fuck like bunnies especially with Amanda's vocal range with a 24 year old daughter living at home.

Motor home a little more tricky. Depending on size. Scotland any lay-by. England your looking at the national parks. The beauty is find the spot that suites you best.

Can recommend some really nice spots in the Lake District. Big enough for two vans. Secluded and idilic.

I have some ultralight gear but generally my thought on this is that if I want to reduce the load I'm carrying I should really start looking in the mirror first.

Watching

We love a bit of Wildcamping, nothing beats finding a quiet spot away from the crowds, like a nice pay for site too, but getting a cheeky free night out ticks all the boxes, love to catch up for a social in a quiet discrete spot with other couples (sorry guys) after this is all over. Need to build up a better list of NE wildcamping spots too, any recommendations gratefully recieved

Love camping in general and have done a bit of wild camping too over the years. My wild tent’s a bit small for two so I’d need a bigger lightweight one or just follow my preference for playing naked outdoors!

Can’t beat a bit of skin on skin in the fresh air / warm sun / cool rain.......

We have considered wild camping in ours motorhome but, we are worried of theft and at the moment or should I say when lockdown is lifted I steer to pay sites, the security and safety is far greater than the lure of a free spot and worrying about theft to an expensive vehicle, a friend of ours used to wild camp however, thieves put sleeping gas through his air vents and stole all his expensive belongings, he woke up non the wiser with broken door locks, they even left the Sleeping gas canister In the area, maybe very rare but I dont want to be a victim

A very rare incident. The locations which I wildcamp this would not happen.

Secluded spots with no road noise. They would have a long walk in having had to park up to avoid undue engine noise.

Your surroundings is perfect for wild camping. Scotland is still lucky enough to allow wild camping although some areas now require a permit and to be honest I'm not surprised. Last time I done a tour of my favourite camping spots I was disgusted by the way people have left sites
