Can't decide between them.

Price wise, the Hinda is about 1000€ less for a similar age (circa 2014 with about 10,000 miles).

Performance, the triple has more oomph.

Comfort, I am 5'11', possibly the Honda

Looks, the Triumph

It will be a "Sunday" bike for me as I have others hence the middleweight, bare bike.

Anyone got an opinion or experience of either?

It all comes down to repairs and maintenance. Do the local main dealers have the spares you need, or will you have to rely on postal spares.

Triumph certainly has he looks, Honda has the reliability.

Maintenance is ot an issue as I will do the servicing etc. myself. I am lucky enough have a fully equipped workshop and already service other bikes.

It is simply down to which one is the most fun to ride.

Hoping that someone on here has ridden one of the two and can tell me what they think.

My mate had the 675, fair play it handled and went well, easy keep pace with the pack. Hornet, boring, you will question yourself why you never bought something else.

Thank you.

That confirms what I was thinking.

Now to find one...

Have ridden both, the Triumph has a much more flexible motor and is more enjoyable to ride. The hornet is a bit long in the tooth now but the build quality is always a plus with the Honda - given the choice, I'd go Triumph.

Pal of mine has one and hes about same height as you n has no problem with it.

Around

Get the triple and never look back. If you can afford it get the R model for better brakes and suspension
