On the inside of my visor i use fairy liquid soap or any liquid soap. I leave it on for 5 mon and then i buff off.. stop visor fogging up..

On outside i learnt an old trick. I use liquid car wax. Leve it on for 5 to 10 min and then buff it off.. rain just beads out of vison..

Just make sure the visor is spotless before buffing the wax.

We use pledge beeswax on the outside.

Watch the fairy liquid, it has a high salt content, you are better off with liquid hand soap.

Used to use Mr Sheen inside and out.

Now I have pinlock inside and use turtle wax outside.

I think pinlock is probably the greatest safety improvement of the last few decades.

Visorcat?

A British company, based in Scotland. It gets good write ups.

I've heard that you can get a 'ceramic' visor coating/treatment.

Same stuff that is advertised for paint protection. CeramicPro is one of the UK companies.

Anyone tried this? Anygood?

You could just buy a half decent bottle of ceramic coating, usually for paintwork but just check if it’s suitable for glass (a lot are). It comes in a really small bottle so for a visor it would last forever

I works wonders even in very heavy rain. It just beads off

I just let the wind do it. It doesn’t stay if you go fast enough

Can you go that fast enough on your bike?

I’ve not used in on my lid but I use Rainex on my car..

If I get caught in the rain I tend to be going fast enough before I get soaked through my leathers so I just turn my head to the side slightly and it gets blown off.

I tried Rain X recently on my windshield and visor. Can’t say it worked very well. After a while it was like the water spray off the road was sticking instead of beading and running off. I’m going back to polish.

I tried the rain x plastic and had same problem so went back to normal rain x as it’s always been pretty good
