Had RD250/400s back in the day.

It all ended when my 350 Power Valve seized whilst flat out in top.

I then got an 1100 Katana......

Back in the day I had a 350lc with microns a Yam paddock jacket, Simpson bandit and Frank Thomas paddock boots. Those were happy days! My nc30 with a full race system sounds pretty good too tho.

I’ve got a Rd350ypvs hybrid with Suzuki rgv250 vj22 front and rear ends on and a few other modifications

Also got a Honda Cr85R with 12 inch supermoto wheels on ??. Massive fun on the out door go cart tracks. But it will be going up for sale soon

Love 2 strokes, got a yz250 and a waverunner 760 jetski.

The smell of silkolene makes you feel alive.

Had a rd350 ypvs too, but it was stolen.

Myself and two sons also have CR two smokers.

I personally love them however the road bikes are bit harder to fettle.

They go twice a year from Newcastle to Oban in Scotland on the RD’s too

These are becoming sought after now as well as the original RS50.

Unfortunately there are hundreds of abused examples out there.

I missed the chance on a Cagiva Mito 125 a couple of years ago.

The fairings were not great but the bike was looked after.

I wanted it as an ornament for the living room

main problem is there made for italian weather not british ... a hint of cold or rain and it played up. Was very fast bike though I wanted to upgrade to the rs250

To be fair I think it was how well you looked after it. I've had a 996R from new and use as much as I can. Never let me down.

Best bike ever in my opinion was my Honda MT 50. Had it when I was 16 when I first started working.

It went out all year including in the snow. It got passed down to my two brothers when I learned to drive.

They are now sitting about £1800 for a tidy example.

Mine was bought used for £400 lol

to be fair your probably right ... it did live outside all year round and I rode it all year round ..was fun in the snow

I saw Doohan and Cadalora at it ...at the old circuit of Le Mans mid 90s. scary beyond belief..V4 two stroke...180 bhp plus.. narrow power band... pre electronics... only a few could master these beasts..glad i saw a few of these battles.

I've got a VJ22 as well. Haven't ridden it for a couple of years though. It's become an antique. Bimbling about on an old Honda CD250u now. Much less exciting!

My first road bike was a new 250LC on L Plates, then 350, various Power valves (Except the Brazilian made pos) Then went to 4t's for years but got a Rothmans NS400R later & until I destroyed one of my knees in a road crash I had an RGV250 vj22 for track days.
