Any classic BSA or Triumph owners/riders in this forum? I am on about vintage and historic bikes.

I think classic applies to vehicles over 25 years old. Historic over 45 years old, and vintage those built 1930 or before. But I am not 100% sure on that.

So yes your bike would be classed as classic.

Yes sorry my mistake.

I have a 1967 Triumph the V5 states it Historical in the taxation class section of document. Does yours not state the same? As I would have though it will be tax and mot exempt. As they become tax and mot exempt at 40 years of age.

Yeah, mine is tax & MOT exempt, although I do get it MOT'd every year along with the service to give it some sort of history since I've owned it.

It's still a novelty to places where I take it as no one has seen or heard a diesel motor cycle before.
